Today, February 27, 2006, I awoke to find that during the night I had lost
someone very close to me. Thunderbolt, I only wish that I had been there
to comfort you in your hour of need. I would have stayed with you all night
to protect you as you always did for me. I will always remember your face
and the way you looked at me just wanting my attention and in return you
gave me your unending devotion. You are such a good boy! Farewell my
dear friend.
All three dogs used in the Harry Potter films were out of his great
grandsire, Vito. His sire and dam placed in the breed at Crufts (United
Kingdom) 2002-2004. At 24 months old he was 28" tall and weighed 160
lbs.
